Historic downtown Lowell spans six city blocks alongside the scenic Flat River, close to numerous parks, lakes. Test your skills at Deer Run Golf Club and Arrowhead Golf Course, take a walking tour of historic Main Street, guided by interpretive boards installed by the Lowell Area Historical Museum. See the Fallasburg Covered Bridge, built in 1871, one of only three covered bridges open to traffic in Michigan. Lowell Public Schools has high expectations are established for all students, whose number totals just under 4000, such as having 95% of our general education students achieving at grade level or beyond in reading and math.
